The Last Cup

A long, long time ago in a country far, far away (well, Sweden actually) the HT-Gods created Hattrick, and all was good. So good in fact, that a young Viking by the name of weird_ed dedicated a temple to it. He named it Alltid Hattrick (which means Forever Hattrick) to indicate that there will always be Hattrick. To adourn his shrine he climbed Mount Divine and stole the stats from the gods, or should I say borrowed. His cult was very popular and in true Viking style it soon spread around the world. Each season many of his followers gathered at the site of his sanctuary to hold a sacred tournament: the Alltid Cup. Every follower competed in a free-for-all tournament to earn the much sought after honour of holding the Cup of Cups above their head.

The HT-Gods saw the passion of the Alltid devotees and thought they should make the world a better place by spreading the Alltid love to each and every person. For this end they called weird_ed up to Hattrick Heaven and made him one of their own. That means he will no longer have time to keep his old temple in order, but like a phoenix it will rise from the flames and a new one will reincarnate inside Hattrick. Alltid is dead, long live Alltid!

That means that this season will see the historic occasion of The Last Alltid Cup: The Alltid Valhalla Cup. This tournament will be a great feast in the style of a Viking funeral. All Alltid fans, and especially Alltid Cup veterans, are invited to participate in this great send-off. Let’s make it a memorable one!

hey, very nice and well made story where i smiled all the time untill i finished read it, but hey…! what the hell happened to weird_ed? He is not realy dead is he? :D I guess he just have no time to be the part of alltid hatrick, am i right?

This site will stop working in the future, after all the main functionality has been moved to Hattrick. So you will be able to see the stats inside Hattrick without having to go to Alltid.

It means that as soon as integrated in HT all the nice stats etc. will only be available in the Supporters section of HT ???

Well, ultimately the HT’s (including weird_ed) will decide that, but as far as I understand most of the features will become available for all users.

@remcooving: Eerlijk gezegd gaat het vrij langzaam met de wachtlijst, in vergelijking met voorgaande edities. Misschien dat mensen toch wat beter hun best doen nu het de laatste is. Het blijft dus afwachten, en de keus is aan jou of je de gok wilt nemen.

@RebelClown: Where did you read otherwise? That’s added content to the game. Since in HT most of the existing statistics options (like player’s match history for example) are only for Supporters why do you think that shall change? For HT devs it’s a game that is supposed to make money. New content = more money. If they are for HT Supporters. Since I only spend a few hours a week on HT I see no need to buy Supporter. With Alltid gone it won’t be the same.

@remcooving: ik bedoel of je wil wachten. Vanavond 23:59 loopt de deadline af, als je dan nog niet bent toegelaten zal het ook niet gebeuren. Gezien de snelheid waarmee de wachtlijst afneemt zal het erom gaan spannen. Ik snap dat je graag wilt meedoen, en ik hoop van harte dat het lukt. Ik kan er als organisator op dit moment niet veel aan doen zonder mijn eigen regels te breken.

Today’s Alltid Plus (Alltid’s premium service) features will become Supporter features. So our supporters will get some really nice new features “for free” so to say (congratulation to all supporters!).

Apart from that, more or less everything else will be available for everyone. Perhaps there will be some more distinction (like Supporters may get “bigger top lists”, while non-Supporters get smaller top lists), but we hope to make the most features available for all users.

That’s two times “maybe” in one sentence.

The debate is pointless. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. On the other hand, since I’m unwilling to pay for it I don’t count anyway.

Dus ik doe niet mee aan deze cup nu terwijl er allemaal walk overs zijn . Vind ik toch wel vreemd. Ik had namelijk wel graag gespeeld.

Daar kan ik heel goed inkomen. Als organisator vind ik het ook erg jammer, ik heb natuurlijk liever iemand zoals jij die graag in de cup speelt dan iemand die zich opgeeft en nooit meer wat van zich laat horen. Maar als de deadline om zondagavond afloopt, moet ik mensen wel de kans geven ‘m te halen, dus ik kan ze niet voor die tijd vervangen.
Na die tijd gaat ook niet, want iedereen wordt dan terecht ongerust over het missen van training. Er is geen garantie dat teams op de wachtlijst wel snel zullen reageren. In jouw geval zou dat anders zijn, dat begrijp ik, maar het zou ook raar zijn als ik plotseling een boel teams op de wachtlijst oversla.

Wait, wait. “Alltid” doesn’t mean “Forever”. It means “Always”. I think there is a diffrence.
